2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV) 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Remember when we were small children when we went to the city pool. We spent a lot of time in the kiddie pool looking at the big pool thinking some day I will get to swim in the big pool. And when that day came how scarred we were only to find out that was where the real fun was! God has something bigger for each one of us no matter where we are right now, that is not where God is going to leave us!
We all have seasons in life when we feel overwhelmed. When unexpected things happen, we can be tempted to get discouraged. We may feel like we don’t have what it takes, or we may feel weak. Anytime you feel this way, you have to realize that feelings aren’t facts. The truth of the matter is that God wants each one of us to get to the big pool in our life's. When we get in over our heads that's when you learn to swim. We need to get filled up to over flowing and go out and splash on someone else's life. When we make our life's about helping others that is when we find the real rewards of life. Others, yes others, let this my motto be! Help me to live for others Lord, so that I might live for thee!
Scripture says, when you feel weak, that’s when God’s strength rises in you. His strength will overcome any opposition you may face.
Remember, anytime you feel weak, that’s when God is strong in You! Keep praying, keep believing, keep pressing forward and rise up in the victory He has in store for you!
