“Freely give us”
Those of us who have surrendered our lives to serve the Lord can claim these exceeding great and precious promises that He has given His servants in His Word. Notice, Drivers, this means you, if you have given your life to the Lord, that is, every area of your life must be under His control, under His authority and it will also be under His blessing. That’s right, these blessed promises are not reserved for those in “Full Time” service, no, all of us can be full time servants of the Lord and claim each and every promise written in the Word of God!
--Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear Thy Name. Psalm 61:3
--No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou
shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:17
--The Angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivers them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusts in Him. O fear the LORD, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
--The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. Psalm 16:6
--Unto you that fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His Wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. Malachi 4:2
--He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
For maximum blessing, maximum protection, maximum power, Brethren, we need to give the Lord all we have and expect Him to do what He said He would do. That is faith in action and is exactly what David did after receiving God’s personal promises: “And now, O LORD God, the Word that Thou has spoken concerning Thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it forever, and DO WHAT THOU HAS SAID. And let Thy Name be magnified forever”
(II Samuel 7:25, 26).
The Lord loves to hear the faith-filled boldness of His servants when they lean upon the promises God has given them. There are over 420 such bold requests in the book of Psalms and God is waiting for yours and for mine! For He will “Freely give us all things” when we stand upon the promises of God. So, Drivers, let us also say to Him: Just do it, Lord and expect Him to go before us (Deuteronomy 1:30) as we go out to witness, warn and win “Souls for Jesus”!
